Isaiah 6:1 - 8:22

- Isaiah sees the Lord high and lifted up, is cleansed, and is sent to a people who will hear but not understand.

- Ahaz is told to ask for a sign. Immanuel is promised, and Assyria is raised as a flood that will not stop at Judah.

Romans 3:21-31

- The righteousness of God has been manifested apart from the law, through faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe.

- All have sinned. God justifies by his grace as a gift through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.
