2 Kings 1:1 - 3:27

- Ahaziah inquires of Baal-zebub and Elijah announces his death. Elijah is taken up in a whirlwind, and Elisha receives a double portion and parts the Jordan.

- Jehoram, Jehoshaphat, and the king of Edom go against Moab. Elisha provides water, and Moab is defeated until the king of Moab sacrifices his son.

2 Corinthians 4:7 - 5:10

- Treasure in jars of clay: afflicted but not crushed, carrying the death of Jesus so his life may be shown. The outer person wastes away, the inner is renewed.

- We groan in this tent and walk by faith, not by sight, and must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ.
