Day 24: from Proverbs and Psalms

Proverbs 24

- Wisdom and understanding are more valuable than silver or gold; the wise build their house on knowledge.

- Do not envy the wicked or rejoice over their downfall, for the Lord will repay evil.

Psalm 116

- The psalmist loves the Lord for delivering him from death and distress.

- He vows to repay the Lord with thanksgiving and offerings for salvation.

Psalm 117

- All nations and peoples are called to praise the Lord.

- The Lord's love endures forever and his faithfulness never ends.

Psalm 118

- The psalmist gives thanks for the Lord's enduring mercy and deliverance from enemies.

- "The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone" and "This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice."
