How Your Relationship with God Is Important to Your Marriage, Part III

This is a three part series, where Kelly and Samuel look at the importance of a healthy relationship with God and how it can positively impact your marriage. A relationship with God must start with deep commitment - he must be the most important thing in your life. If we get this right, all of our other relationships can be healthy and balanced, especially our marriages. However, sometimes we can get stuck in our relationship with God and we will explore different stages of faith. The Bible illustrates for us three different types of relationships with God that we can have: being a believer, being a servant, or best, being his friend. In this episode, we round out the series by looking closely at how you can have a friendship with God - the healthiest way to be in relationship with him. We offer key takeaways that you can implement in your life and draw closer to him, and hopefully, which will also positively impact your marriage. WANT TO TALK TO SOMEONE? Using the person of Peter, we look at how we can get stuck in our faith by being legalistic and have false ideas about God. Here we give some insight into how you can have a grace and truth-oriented relationship with Jesus. WANT TO TALK TO SOMEONE?
