Let's Talk Cryptids: Bigfoot
Explicit
This week we're bringing the truly strange and unusual back to the show by discussing cryptids, Bigfoot to be precise. Bigfoot is one of Collin's favorite cryptids and Alea thought it would be nice to showcase one of his favorite things. We'll be highlighting three different horror movies that feature or center around Bigfoot/Sasquatch/Yeti. As to remain in solidarity with the WGA & SAG-AFTRA strike, we made sure all three movies that are discussed are either independently produced or are produced by non AMPTP affiliates.

It's game night for the Abby Normal Podcast household. This is the fifth time we have played Horror Trivial Pursuit on the podcast.
WGA & SAG-AFTRA Strike
How did we get here? And where are we going from here? With the WGA strike unfolding and now the SAG-AFTRA strike beginning, we wanted to take the time to explain how it all started and where we are right now in a way you, the listeners, better understand it. We are by no means professionals in the movie & TV critique field but as consumers of movies & TV as well as content creators, but we felt like this is our way of showing solidarity to the strike to have the conversation. If you enjoy this episode and felt that this was informative in some ways, please share this episode with others.Cited Sources from this episode:https://www.wgacontract2023.org/https://www.sagaftrastrike.org/https://www.sagaftra.org/message-sag-aftra-president-fran-drescherhttps://www.thewrap.com/wga-strike-relief-entertainment-community-fund/https://www.politico.com/news/2023/05/08/biden-fair-deal-striking-screenwriters-00095907https://www.theonion.com/wendy-s-ending-legacy-program-for-customers-whose-famil-1850660216https://deadline.com/2023/04/hollywood-strike-iatse-supporting-writers-guild-contract-talks-1235337183/
