The Code of Conduct for Advisory Bodies podcast for A Day in the Life

Hello folks, welcome to another edition of the program. Today, we're going to talk at length about the Code of Conduct for Advisory Bodies. This is the document which was talked about during the June AAC meeting, as well as other committees once it passed through Consent at the board level. During the break, we built a specific Code of Conduct for Advisory bodies page which goes in to details on what this is, the item we didn't hear, and the Code itself. I am not a lawyer, and I don't intend to understand everything that may be in it, and some may not apply to the things I'm involved in, however, we read it and discuss it. A recap of the AAC meeting that took place on June 11, 2026

Hello gang, welcome to another podcast across "A Day in the Life." Today, we're going to cover the AAC meeting that took place for June 11, 2026 and lay the groundwork for the Code of Conduct for Advisory bodies discussion. As part of the AAC meeting, we actually discussed the code, and it was advised that the code be put in to the agenda package. PSAC is already doing this. The Jrn has created and finalized the web page for the Code of Conduct for Advisory Bodies (coca) web page so people can download the items in question. The following are available in alternate formats: The Board Agenda package (without attachments) The item that went through consent (item 21) in multiple formats including text the Code of Conduct for Advisory Bodies document itself We hope that the resource is of value, and references to the code in agenda packages will be pointed to this web page instead of transcribed again. The Accessibility Report April 2026 Observations and Quarterly Feb-Apr

Hello gang, welcome to the Accessibility Observations Report for April 2026. This podcast covers the Monthly April report, the normalization of February's numbers, as well as the Quarterly February-April 2026 numbers. Starting in May, we normalize things in to 4 categories: Fully Accessible: those rides whose internal and external are working or internal working by train Partial: Some things working, others may not Failures: Those who demonstrate complete failure Unknown: Those trips I could not verify due to positioning, or other variables This could make it very interesting, because we're not talking just success VS failure rate, we have more. The unknown could come where I'm in the back of the bus, but here a stop as I'm getting off, and the back speakers not working at all. We'll come across this if it happens. What I can say is that we know there are problems, and I want to invite people to contact me to tell me how they're doing and I'll ride along with you. Its the only way we can figure out what's happening. I won't call you a liar, you classify things differently than I do. I'll have more podcasts soon, we'll be in touch!

The SFV meeting for June 3, 2026

A day in the life: A quick web site update and a board agenda package for May 28, 2026

Hello gang, welcome to the podcast called "A Day in the life." Starting with this podcast, we're going to push it out to Social Media, so we'll see how things go. Welcome to all new listeners. This podcast covers some small web site stuff, as well as the agenda package for the board meeting which has a lot of contractual stuff, FIFA things, FY27 items, one item held back from April's meeting and more. This podcast covers all things meetings, including the upcoming board meeting, Operations which I sit on, The AAC which I've been a member of, PSAC, SFV and of course this board. The only group I'm a member of is the AAC, all others I am as a member of the public. This podcast covers observations, rides and more. Its over 70 episodes, but I thought since this is the first going through social media, i'd do a short explanation. We recently got our main braille display back, and yes, I did make fun of myself for not reading some of the numbers right, but hey, it can be taxing reading a long document.
