How Listening to Outsiders Transforms Your Faith | Cross Culture
Episode notes
What if the people you least expect—outsiders, the lowly, or those from other cultures—could teach you the deepest truths about God? In this video, we explore the nativity story in a fresh way—through the eyes of the Magi, the shepherds, and Mary herself—and uncover how God speaks through surprising people, cultures, and experiences. From cross-cultural nativity scenes in Peru, the Philippines, and the American Southwest to conversations with Muslim scholars, Alex Lee (Fuller Seminary & Tyndale Intercultural Ministry Centre) shares how he discovered that faith deepens when we approach it with wonder, curiosity, and openness. Learn how God meets us where we are, how different perspectives reveal new truths about Jesus, and why the most profound lessons sometimes come from those we least expect.
