80. Integration: When Different Parts of You Become One
In this week's reflection episode, I share a life update about my mental health and finally receiving an OCD diagnosis before reflecting on the idea of integration. Looking back at my older podcast episodes reminded me that, even though I've changed, I've always been me. The biggest difference isn't who I am. It's the relationship I have with myself. In this episode, I share: Why being diagnosed with OCD brought me relief and changed how I understand myself The story behind re-uploading my older podcast episodes & what that taught me about healing How shame can make us separate ourselves into different "versions" instead of seeing ourselves as one whole person Why growth doesn't mean leaving your past self behind My Poetry & Reflections Notion Page: https://www.notion.so/Morgan-Sneed-Poetry-Reflections-294fbd79ed638009bf42dc1cddabf4fd?source=copy_link My Socials: All my links in one place: https://linktr.ee/morgansneed Instagram: @morgansneedd TikTok: @morgansneed Want to start your own podcast? 76. My Current Obsessions: Fashion, Music, Creativity & Romanticizing Life
This week's fun episode is a deep dive into the things I have currently been obsessed with and little moments that make life feel meaningful. What started as a simple episode about random things I enjoy slowly became something deeper: a reflection on learning to embrace all the different parts of myself instead of feeling like I have to fit into one specific version of who I am. 75. Things That Instantly Make Me Emotionally Spiral
This week's fun episode is a light-hearted yet reflective deep dive into some of the things that can make me emotionally spiral, as someone who overthinks basically everything, is deeply creative, and is always trying to balance meaning with overwhelm. From podcast editing and social media to parenting, perfectionism, and trying to figure out whether I'm intuitive or just anxious. By the end, this episode became less about the spirals themselves and more about what it's actually like to live inside my brain. In this episode, I share: Why being a creative person can easily turn into emotional overwhelm Struggles with managing and balancing all parts of life How overthinking can turn the smallest things into self-improvement spirals The pressure of being "niche enough" while still remaining authentic How I'm learning to ground myself when my brain gets too loud My Poetry & Reflections Notion Page: https://www.notion.so/Morgan-Sneed-Poetry-Reflections-294fbd79ed638009bf42dc1cddabf4fd?source=copy_link My Socials: All my links in one place: https://linktr.ee/morgansneed Instagram: @morgansneedd TikTok: @morgansneed Want to start your own podcast? 74. When the Fear of Being “Too Much” Starts Controlling Your Relationships
In this week’s insight episode, I talk about what happens when the fear of being “too much” starts controlling the way we show up in our relationships. This episode is the realization that sometimes, anxiety controls our behavior along with our emotions. I share some of the ways fear can turn emotions into panic, urgency, hypervigilance, and self-protection, and how healing is about learning to stay connected to ourselves without letting fear become our identity. In this episode, I share: How fear of abandonment can change the way we act in relationships Why people are often more overwhelmed by our panic than our emotions themselves How hypervigilance & over-explaining can reinforce the fear that we are “too much” A reminder that healing is not becoming less emotional, but learning how to stay grounded while feeling our emotions My Poetry & Reflections Notion Page: https://www.notion.so/Morgan-Sneed-Poetry-Reflections-294fbd79ed638009bf42dc1cddabf4fd?source=copy_link My Socials: All my links in one place: https://linktr.ee/morgansneed Instagram: @morgansneedd TikTok: @morgansneed Want to start your own podcast? 73. Maybe I Was Never Too Much
In this week’s reflection episode, I talk about the painful feeling that who you are, at your core, might be “too much” even for the people who love you deeply. After a recent experience with loved ones left me feeling emotionally overwhelmed and disconnected, I began unpacking the deeper emotions hidden beneath my anxious-avoidant attachment style, hyper-independence, and fear of being misunderstood. This episode is about recognizing what happens when we stop dismissing our emotions, learning that sensitivity is not the same thing as weakness, and understanding that healing can feel messy before it begins to feel peaceful. In this episode, I share: What it feels like to believe your emotions overwhelm other people. The connection between burnout, emotional sensitivity, and feeling misunderstood. How overexplaining can become a coping mechanism for fear and rejection. Learning that feeling deeply is not a moral failure and that you don't have to shrink yourself to feel loved. 72. Small Things That Make Healing Worth It
Esplicito
This episode is part 3 of my three-part "realizing you're healing" series. In this week’s fun episode, I talk about the small things that make healing feel worth it. From bookstores and rainy days to deep conversations, outfits that finally feel like you, and moments where you realize you were fully present without trying to force it, this episode is a reminder that healing often becomes real through tiny moments first. I also share some life updates about burnout recovery, quitting my job, and the unexpected experience of being without a phone for two days after mine got run over on Mother’s Day. 71. Signs You're Actually Healing
This episode is part 2 of my three-part "realizing you're healing" series. In this week’s insight episode, I talk about what healing can actually start to look like after surviving hard seasons of life. This episode is a continuation of last week’s conversation. This episode is not about “moving on” quickly, but about finally recognizing healing in real time. I share some of the small, overlooked signs that you may be healing, even if you still struggle, overthink, or feel deeply. In this episode, I share: Being able to sit with boredom, discomfort, and scary/big emotions How anger can become information instead of something to suppress What it looks like to stop performing and start becoming more yourself Recognizing small moments of peace, presence, and beauty in everyday life A reminder that healing is non-linear, layered, imperfect, and still worthy of celebration My Poetry & Reflections Notion Page: https://www.notion.so/Morgan-Sneed-Poetry-Reflections-294fbd79ed638009bf42dc1cddabf4fd?source=copy_link My Socials: All my links in one place: https://linktr.ee/morgzworld Instagram: @morgansneedd TikTok: @morgansneed Want to start your own podcast?
