North Carolina is among the top ten states utilizing automated systems to improve efficiency and accuracy in tax escrow payments. A recent national survey of government tax collectors revealed that 41% of respondents face major challenges such as insufficient resources and staff, data management issues, and IT problems during payment processing. Additionally, 28% cited delinquent payments as a primary challenge.
