In Week 3, we explore spiritual formation—the lifelong work of the Holy Spirit shaping our inward lives until our minds, hearts, desires, and actions come into harmony with the life of Jesus.

Paul described his desire for believers as “Christ being formed in you” (Galatians 4:19). But how does that formation actually happen? Through worship—not simply singing songs, but through what we continually exalt, focus on, and give our attention to. Formation is the byproduct of what we exalt.

From Israel and the golden calf to Paul’s words in 2 Corinthians 3:18, Scripture reveals a powerful truth: we become like who or what we worship. Worshiping idols deforms us; worshiping Jesus transforms us into His likeness.
