On November 14, 1907, Howard W. Hunter—the 14th President of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints—was born in Boise, Idaho. As prophet, he invited all to follow the example of Jesus Christ and make the temple the center of their faith. From his youth, he showed compassion and integrity, later leading in service and sacrifice through projects such as the Los Angeles Temple and the BYU Jerusalem Center. Despite trials and illness, President Hunter pressed forward with courage and love, reminding us that happiness is found in kindness, forgiveness, and devotion to the Savior. His legacy continues to inspire us to live with faith and love in His Story today.
