On November 13, 1838, Joseph F. Smith—the sixth President of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints—was born in Far West, Missouri. His devotion to family and the gospel shaped his teachings as a prophet, emphasizing the sacred role of home, priesthood, and revelation. Under his leadership, the Church flourished and expanded worldwide.
