Is ADHD the culprit? The legal and ethical ramifications of ADHD and ADHD medication

A child was stabbed by his older sister and her the mother of the older sister believes that her ADHD medication was to blame for this. The mother believes that the ADHD medication caused a psychosis/psychotic break that led to this tragic incident. Does this mean that ADHD medication can create killers? Do stimulants make one violent? Should children be on something so dangerous? We are not here to fear monger nor scapegoat, we are here to discuss ADHD medication comprehensively and with empathy. So let’s do it, let’s talk about it! ADHD Decoded: My spidey senses tell me that someone is ADHD!

We love Tom Holland and we also love the fact that he MIGHT be portraying an ADHD character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Kind, handsome, a hero, ADHD? What more could one want in the MCU?? But some disagree arguing that he is just an awkward and charming young man....Let's talk about it then with the help of my resident Marvel Specialist and special guest....Let's DECODE! How to not scam people with: the ADHD clinic scandal, ADHD access and equality

This podcast episode is sponsored by Better Help Special offer to The Lucie Pod listeners, you can get 10% off your first month of professional therapy at https://betterhelp.com/theluciepod So now we’re scamming ADHDers…We’re not only making it impossible for them to get a diagnosis or prescriptions for their meds but we’re telling them that if they want those things, they must pay ridiculous fraudulent fees to move up on the waiting list. I am shocked and appalled. Today we’re talking about the ABC article “ADHD clinics capitalise on diagnosis explosion, with some charging up to $3,000 and paying doctors up to $900,000 a year”. We talk ADHD access, inequality, and the warped perception we have of ADHD and how that is hindering ADHD support and progress. ADHD is not aways sunshine and rainbows, it is first and foremost a disorder affecting many and we deserve support. Tik Tok & ADHD Brain Rot

This podcast episode is sponsored by BetterHelp Special offer to The Lucie Pod listeners, you can get 10% off your first month of professional therapy at https://betterhelp.com/ I have SEVERAL bones to pick with Tik Tok... In particular the way in which its creators and consumers have come to represent and understand ADHD. Put simply, I do not like the way we're going with ADHD-Tok and I despise Tik Tok in general because it destroys your brain and I am no boomer so lets unpack this complex issue...
