Geek Down - Dune Pt. 2, Masters of the Universe Revolution, Drive-Away Dolls

We finally riding that sandworm with Dune Pt. 2, and Denis Villeneuve delivered a cinematic masterwork that demands you pull it out that popcorn bucket and pay attention. Then we flipping to Eternia for Masters of the Universe Revolution, where the animation goes hard and the nostalgia hits different. And we closing out with Drive-Away Dolls, the raunchy lesbian road trip comedy that Ethan Coen cooked up, and Margaret Qualley's accent alone is a whole vibe. The reviews are locked and fully loaded. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If you liked this episode and want to help us make more in the future, we'd be hella grateful for a small donation via this link https://www.buymeacoffee.com/villainswtf (no pressure of course - we'll be making the best content we can regardless) 🤘 Become a patron too for longer format episodes, bonus shows, and more! https://www.patreon.com/cw/VillainsWTF And all our sister shows @ https://www.villains.wtf

Geek Down - Fallout, Wicked Little Letters, Hundreds of Beavers

We’re breaking down this foul-mouthed period piece Wicked Little Letters -- some 1920s cussing with Olivia Colman is the unhinged energy we didn’t know we needed. Then we stepping into the wasteland for Fallout, where Walton Goggins steals the show. And we cap it off with the genius of Hundreds of Beavers, a silent fever dream that has NO BUSINESS being as hilarious as it is. Tap in.

Geek Down - Gladiator 2, Slime 3k, Rumours

We caught that Gladiator 2 disaster, and the whole crew agrees it’s a soulless cash grab that Russell Crowe’s ghost should haunt. Then we plugging into the madness of Slime 3k, a ridiculous rogue-lite that understands the assignment for straight-up, no-thoughts chaos. Also stepping to Rumours, that political satire where Cate Blanchett plays a world leader getting freaky with an ancient bog brain, and the absurdity actually hits. These verdicts are locked and fully loaded.

Geek Down - The Monkey, Demon City, The Pedestrian

The crew pulls up ready to hand out praise and punishment in equal measure. The Monkey gets dragged for wasting a solid Stephen King premise on cheap scares, weak execution, and the kind of lazy horror that insults the audience. The Pedestrian earns its spotlight as a quirky, offbeat comic with weird vibes and an even weirder hero. Demon City brings the heat with relentless, bone-crunching action, brutal fight choreography, and a body count that never lets up. Sharp takes and zero sugarcoating all the way through.

Geek Down - The Electric State, Deli Boys, Borderline

The crew is coming in hot with sharp takes and zero sugarcoating. The Electric State gets broken down for its retro-future spectacle, wrecked-world visuals, and big sci-fi swings across a broken America. May as well be a documentary. Deli Boys brings family chaos, criminal mess, and fast-talking comedy as two spoiled brothers get dragged into a life they were never built for. Borderline closes it out with dark tension, unstable energy, and thriller madness that keeps every scene on edge. Expect bold opinions, quick laughs, and no polite lies.

Geek Down - Novocaine, The Z-Suite, Looney Tunes Day the Earth Blew Up

Novocaine hits a nerve with wild energy and a lead dude who literally throws himself into chaos. The Z-Suite gets handled next, with corporate mess, ego trips, and Gen Z workplace drama. Looney Tunes Day the Earth Blew Up brings back classic slapstick chaos with a sci-fi twist.

Geek Down - Deep Cover, Hornsby & Halo, Kpop Demon Hunters

Deep Cover gets broken down for its improv-comedy-meets-crime premise, and a cast more committed to the bit than Christian Bale. Hornsby & Halo carries a heaven-versus-hell energy, doing a full "Freaky Friday" swap with a demon and an angel. KPop Demon Hunters steals the spotlight with vibrant animation, infectious music, and that danged Tiger! . . . Geek Down - The Witcher, Ip Man 4, Overdrive 2

We put respect on Ip Man 4 for closing out Donnie Yen's legacy with martial arts precision and real emotional weight. The Witcher gets broken down for its monster-slaying spectacle, Henry Cavill's charisma, and the fantasy chaos keeping the culture talking. Overdrive 2 rounds it out with slick cyber-ninja combat and fast-paced hack-and-slash action! Hack-tion? Hashl-yun? . . . F it, you'll figure it out!

Geek Down - The Witches, Scare Me, GTFO, 12 Reasons to Die

The crew comes through with raw takes and no filler this episode. The Witches gets handled for its creepy family-fantasy energy, wild visuals, and big Anne Hathaway performance. 12 Reasons to Die brings gritty comic-book crime, revenge, and Ghostface Killah-inspired horror with a hard street-opera edge. GTFO on Steam delivers brutal co-op survival where teamwork, stealth, and panic carry every mission. Scare Me closes it out with sharp horror-comedy tension built on storytelling, ego, and two people trying to out-frighten each other.

Geek Down - Transformers War for Cybertron, Vast of Night

The crew is back with sharp takes and no filter. The Vast of Night gets its flowers as a low-budget sci-fi masterclass, using slick long takes, period-perfect atmosphere, and two unknowns who absolutely carry the whole mystery on pure dialogue alone. Transformers: War for Cybertron gets broken down as the dark, brutal take on the Autobot-Decepticon civil war that longtime fans have been begging for, with sleek animation and a story that finally treats the lore with the weight it deserves.
