We have to talk about Jiu Jitsu because Nicolas Cage swing swords at aliens is the exact brand of beautiful, sick chaos we deserve. Then we got Minions of Midas out of Spain, which is a cold, high-stakes blackmail thriller that asks how much you'd really pay to keep your peace. On top of that, we are diving into the Action 2020 comic to see if these classic heroes still hold weight in the modern era. We are giving you the real, unfiltered breakdown on all of it. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If you liked this episode and want to help us make more in the future, we'd be hella grateful for a small donation via this link https://www.buymeacoffee.com/villainswtf (no pressure of course - we'll be making the best content we can regardless) 🤘 Become a patron too for longer format episodes, bonus shows, and more! https://www.patreon.com/cw/VillainsWTF And all our sister shows @ https://www.villains.wtf

Geek Down - Book of Boba Fett, Super Cool, All of Us Are Dead, Looop Lapeta

Super Cool treats teenage poor decision-making like an extreme sport. The Book of Boba Fett digs into the reality that the galaxy’s underworld is a lot messier than one recidivist and some power rangers can handle. All of Us Are Dead turns a standard school day into a relentless zombie fight. And Looop Lapeta is a chaotic, high-speed time loop energy remake of "Run Lola Run." --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If you liked this episode and want to help us make more in the future, we'd be hella grateful for a small donation via this link https://www.buymeacoffee.com/villainswtf (no pressure of course - we'll be making the best content we can regardless) 🤘 Become a patron too for longer format episodes, bonus shows, and more! https://www.patreon.com/cw/VillainsWTF And all our sister shows @ https://www.villains.wtf

Geek Down - Reacher, Moonfall, Cyrano, Blade Runner Black Lotus

Peter Dinklage is out here showing serious acting chops in Cyrano, carrying so much weight it hurts to watch. Or maybe that's just the script. Simultaneously, Reacher's just a dude who walks into a mess and starts throwing hands -- my dude's old-school, like bone-cracking equals problem-solving old-school! We also got the Blade Runner Black Lotus series on the table. It's gritty, futuristic, big scifi swinging it's glowy purple dick all over the screen. Then there's Moonfall, and honestly, the moon attacking Earth is exactly the kind of wacky chaos this show is made for.

Space Bastards—that grown-folks comic chaos hits different, take our word for it! And we're tackling the whole parody situation with The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window, because honestly, somebody has to explain what's going on in the Lifetime/Hallmark/Soap Opera space.

Geek Down - Hit Man, Red Queen, Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead

Glen Powell is officially the people's leading man and Hit Man is the best movie anybody has dropped in the last two years, no counter arguments will be entertained. We sat all the way through Red Queen, the adaptation of Juan Gómez-Jurado's novel, and this thing has actual stakes, actual edge, and zero lazy streaming filler. We also broke down the BET+ remake of Don't Tell Mom The Babysitter's Dead, it does not disrespect the original, it actually updates the premise correctly, and most of y'all are gonna sleep on it and be mad three weeks from now when someone brings it up.

Will Smith and Martin Lawrence slide back in Bad Boys Ride or Die, and the chemistry remains undeniable even when the plot runs on fumes.
