Bold Women Empower Women. We all want to have people rooting for us, but we don’t always know how to find the right people to be our champions. In this episode, we talk about how to give (and receive) the support you truly need - but don’t know how to ask for.

5 Ways to Be a Champion for Your Sisters in Business

1. Make 1-1 Connections
   1. Be interested in their life and business
   2. Learn their goals
2. Look for Connections to Make for Them
   1. Find out who is a good referral for them
   2. Actively look for connections to make
3. Celebrate them publicly AND privately
   1. Comment / like / share their posts
   2. Invite people to their event
   3. Send them a message or call to say, “Way to Go!”
4. Create a culture of celebrating action-taking
   1. Don’t JUST celebrate wins, celebrate “failures” as part of their journey taking action
5. Hold space for them in hard times
   1. Create a “circle of trust” - be someone who holds confidences for others
   2. Allow people to share vulnerably with you - by sharing vulnerably with them - not for commiseration, but for “me too” level understanding
   3. Call them back above the line when needed - as a lifeline to help pull them out of the pit

BONUS STRATEGY:

Pray for each other - out loud. Words have power. Praying peace and wisdom over a sister is one of the most powerful things you can do to be of service to them in a challenging time.
