Initially it was about getting involved in investing in the US but quickly became about forging deep long term relationships with like-minded people - particularly but not limited to those in the MIH Mastermind that Hadar Orkibi and Marco Barbaro set up. Currently Ian is in LP deals in Oklahoma and Kansas City and are looking at moving into JP smaller deals later this year. Ian's passionate about health and Wellness and set up the MIH Well chat over about 180 members where people share and learn about aspects of wellness such as exercise, eating right and supplements. Ian is passionate about community giving and volunteers with elderly people once a week, spending time with them, playing games with them and serving them lunch. He also regularly goes on international outreach trips to countries like Cambodia, Thailand and Hong Kong to be hands and feet there, Ian is married to Teresa and they have a son Daniel aged 10.

At the age of 23, he bought his first multifamily property, a 4-family, in New York. In 2013, he began investing with his brother & Jake in Knoxville Tennessee, where they purchased their first twenty-five unit deal. Since then, he has partnered with Jake & Gino and on his own on over 3700 units, and has witnessed and participated in the growth of the company. Marco exited the rat race on August 1st 2019, and joined the Jake & Gino team full time to help coach students and raise capital for Sharpline Equity.
