The Perks of Being a Gadol (Tanya is a ברייתא)

Welcome back to another episode of Tanya is a ברייתא! In this shiur, we take a dive into an idea expressed by the Alter Rebbe in a letter (primarily in the luach hatikun). Along the way, we come to a better understanding of what a Gadol Hador is, the halachic implications of having one, and how we can serve Hashem in our interactions with them and with others.

(The intention of this series is to attempt to bring out the Alter Rebbe’s intention by doing a deep dive into his (oftentimes niglah’dike) sources. Enjoy the shiur!)
