Brainpower (Tanya is a ברייתא)

Welcome back to Tanya is a ברייתא!

This week we take a look at one of the foundational dictums of Chabad, that the mind rules over the heart. We examine some sources broyght by the Alter Rebbe, and we attempt to understand how exactly the brain-heart relationship functions.

(The intention of this series is to attempt to bring out the Alter Rebbe’s intention by doing a deep dive into his (oftentimes niglah’dike) sources. Enjoy the shiur!)
