Welcome to Scott & Steve Improv Presents: The Trailer, where you meet Scott and Steve and hear what we're planning for this podcast.

We're not the typical team you'd find in your local improv scene. We don't play games, we have a frame of reference that Baby Boomers and Gen-X will identify with, and we like to find a story. To find it we do the simplest thing... we look at each other, listen, and then try to be honest and truthful in our responses to each other as it unfolds. We're influenced by the roots of improv in Chicago, and the idea that truthfulness in the moment is the most valuable thing we can present. We believe that trying to be funny almost always ends in disaster, and that life is already funny, so if we can just accurately reflect life, we'll entertain someone.
