🎙️SANDDAO Podcast 28: Delegation has come to Sandbox DAO

Lanzer covers the Sandbox announcement that the DAO is accepting Delegates & Delegation applications, a long-awaited tool for SandFam to use. Lanzer covers the announcement forum post, application process, DAO interview questions, reviews Code of Conduct, and an abuse scenario that can result from the broad language used to define "conflict of interest" and "disclosure". Overall, this is a great announcement and should greatly benefit the Sandbox DAO! >>PLEASE VOTE! 🎙️SANDDAO Podcast 27: Reaction to the new Sandbox Tutorial at 0,0

Lanzer reacts to the new Sandbox Tutorial, a very welcome addition to the New Player Experience (NPE). It features a smooth, easy-to-follow flow. There were some logistical hiccups toward the end, but mostly minor things in the overall addition that this Tutorial brings. Well done Sandbox Team! >>PLEASE VOTE! 🎙️SANDDAO Podcast 26: SIP-14 for Window Sizing & Resolution Options with Lanzer from MetaWorlds

Lanzer does a read-through of SIP-14, which is an improvement proposal he authored. The proposal requests that the Sandbox (TSB) Development Team prioritize updating the graphics settings of Game Maker, Vox Editor, Game Client, and Sandbox Launcher to enable Resolution Options for 420p,720p, 1080p, 2K, 4K, and enable up/down/left/right Window Resizing. Window resizing and screen resolution features are standard to most programs. A software package lacking these capabilities comes off as unpolished to the average end user. As the launcher is the first impression a new user gets of the Sandbox game, a priority should be placed on implementing standard quality-of-life features (such as window resizing) that users have come to expect of all mature software programs. >>PLEASE VOTE! 🎙️SANDDAO Podcast 23: Rules of DAO Money with Joseph

Lanzer and Joseph (TheVisionEx) discuss how to approach if SIPs should answer to anyone other than the SandFam, which authorizes the spending of DAO resources. They discuss it from an academic and practical level, using 3 recent case studies that emerged from recent SIPs; Ambassador Program, Krafter UGC, and Blockchain Events 2024. They explore a new environment that appears to be contradicting itself with no clear resolution or rule of thumb to guide the community.
