The Place Where God Enters

The Place Where God Enters After the storms have exposed what cannot hold, after the weight of life has pressed you to the breaking point, something unexpected happens. A space opens. And it is in that space, in the cracks and the fractures and the exhaustion, where God steps in. He does not wait for you to be strong. He does not measure His presence by your achievements or your ability to keep everything together. He simply enters. This is the place where God meets you.We live in a world shaped by comparison, competition, and control, and it wears us down slowly. We try to measure up, to be seen, to meet standards that never stop shifting. We chase a version of success that others can admire, and somewhere in that chase, cracks begin to form. One crack, then another, until we feel more fractured than we ever expected. And we wonder what went wrong. But nothing went wrong. We were simply never made to live this way. There is a falsehood many of us carry: that God shows up most when life looks strong, that He is closest when things are working. But the deepest encounters with Him rarely come from a place of strength. They come when life feels unresolved, confusing, and vulnerable. His love does not rise and fall with our circumstances. We are messy and inconsistent, yet He remains steady. Psalm 34:18 says the Lord is close to the brokenhearted and rescues those whose spirits are crushed. He is close to you, even now. When God enters a broken place, everything shifts. He brings you to your knees, not in shame But in clarity. You begin to see that it was never about performing, proving, or competing. It was always about being with Him. The world pulls us toward striving, but we are called toward surrender. And real surrender leads somewhere striving never can. He closes the distance between pain and healing. He brings light into the hidden places, and that light shines most clearly through what is cracked, not through what is perfect. A life that looks polished on the outside leaves little room for His light to get in. But a life that has been broken open- that is where He shines. Without Him at the center, identity becomes something you build out of attention and approval, and it will never hold. But your identity was never meant to be earned. It has already been given, and it is found in Jesus Christ. In Him there is rest, not an escape from the hardness of life, but a steady, unshakable presence within it. Maybe the goal was never to fix every crack or make yourself whole on your own. Maybe it was always about letting Him meet you in those broken places, shining His light into the gaps, and showing you that even in your weakness, His presence is enough.

WHERE JOY IS MADE

WHERE JOY IS MADE If you want to see changes in your life: if you want to be healed, be free, and have joy, you’ll need to actually spend time in the presence of God. Religion doesn’t bring joy to your life. In fact, from the beginning of the word of God, He’s been telling His people that what is in our hearts has always been infinitely more important than following the rules. To be clear, I’m not saying that the rules don’t matter, or that we shouldn’t obey the teachings of our faith. Only that if we do those things and our hearts remain far from God, they are of little value. Look at what the Lord says to his people in Hosea 6:6: “For I desire steadfast love and not sacrifice, the knowledge of God rather than burnt offerings." Steadfast love. That’s what matters to God. That’s what makes the difference in our lives. The word steadfast means unchanging and consistent. When we learn the importance of honest, consistent, unchanging love for God, we begin to experience more than just religion, but relationship. In Hosea 6:6 it also says He desires for us to have “knowledge of God” – He wants us to know Him. He wants us to learn about Him as we would a friend or a loved one with whom we’ve spent time. How do we get to that place? When we talk to Him, and spend time around Him. It’s in our private devotional time. Look what happens during this time according to the psalm we are focusing on today: “You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy” Relationship with God brings knowledge of the path of life. The more time we spend with Him the less confused and worried we will be. The more confident we will be in our decisions. The more insight we will have on the situations occurring around us. Because He knows what’s next, and He knows what’s best for us. And He shares these things with us when we go to Him and spend time in prayer and meditation on His word. Equally important, relationship with God brings joy. So many of us pray for joy but refuse to go to the source: the presence of God. Many of us spend years seeing small flashes of joy in church services, but find that it disappears when we go home. This is because it is made in His presence. In our last devotional we learned that joy is a fruit: it is the product of the Holy Spirit. We also learned that fruit is always produced on purpose. In the same way, if we don’t intentionally spend time in His presence, we will never experience fullness of joy. In this passage, the word “fullness” means complete, whole, and lacking nothing. Those who draw near to God must be more than just “card-carrying” Christians. It takes more than a church membership. We are rewarded when we diligently seek Him, being steadfast, consistent and unchanging. I want to challenge you to spend time in God’s presence as you read this plan. My prayer is that you would go beyond the title of Christian, and become one who diligently seeks God and reaps the benefits of His presence. Reading books and watching sermons are great. But if in the end you don’t learn to diligently seek God on your own, you will never learn how to live joyfully. As you go through this devotional, take time to pray, journal, and meditate in the presence of God. Find a quiet place to talk with God and pour out your heart to Him. It is in these moments where joy is made, and your heart will be renewed day by day. Thoughts for Meditation: How often do I seek joy in other places, but fail to go to the presence of God? Have I been steadfast and diligent in my devotion to the Lord? how can I ensure that I make time to find joy in His presence? Prayer: Lord, teach me how to find fullness of joy in your presence. I’m sorry if I’ve offered you religion, but have never offered steadfast love and devotion, and have never gotten to know you. I realize now that I am in .

Psalm 49

PSALM 49 For the director of music. Of the Sons of Korah. A psalm. 1 Hear this, all you peoples; listen, all who live in this world 2 both low and high, rich and poor alike: 3 My mouth will speak words of wisdom; ~ the meditation of my heart will give you understanding. "I will turn my ear to a provers; with the harp i will expound my riddle Why should I Lear when evil days come, when wicked deceivers surround me • those wholtrusd in their wealth and boast of their great riches? " No one can redeem the life of another or give to God a ransom for them 8 the ransom for a life is costly, no payment is ever enough - 9 so that they should live on forever and'not see decay, For all can see that the wise die, that the foolish and the senseless also perish, leaving their wealth to others. Their tombs will remain their houses® forever, their dwellings for endless generations, though they had' named lands after themselves. People, despite their wealth, do not endure; they are like the beasts that perish. This is the fate of those who trust in themselves, and of their followers, who approve their sayings." They are like sheep and are destined to die; death will be their shepherd (but the upright will prevail over them in the morning). Their forms will decay in the grave, far from their princely mansions. But God will redeem me from the realm of the dead; he will surely take me to himself. 6 Do not be overawed when others grow rich, when the splendor of their houses increases; 18 Though while they live they count themselves blessed and people praise you when you prosper - 1° they will join those who have gone before them, Who will neveragain see the ightalife. 20 People who have wealth but lack understanding are like the beasts that perish PRAYING SCRIPTURE Psalm 49 Are you ever amazed by wealth? By the lifestyles of the superrich whose accumulation of the things of earth is beyond comprehen-sion? The psalmist warned that no amount of money can purchase someone's salvation: It is a cost) no human being can pay. lerstanding.* if you are not sure of your relationship with God, ask him now to save you.

Psalm 53

PSALM 53 For the director of music. According to mahalath. A maskil of David. 'The fool says in his heart, "There is no God." They are corrupt, and their ways are vile; there is no one who does good. 2God looks down from heaven on all mankind to see if there are any who understand, any who seek God. Everyone has turned away, all have become corrupt; there is no one who does good, not even one. Do all these evildoers know nothing? They devour my people as though eating bread; they never call on God. ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨ PRAYING SCRIPTURE Psalm 53 The universal and pervasive presence of evil can make us feel over-whelmed. God sees and knows that people are not good in themselves and that those who are filled with iniquity attack those who fear God. Ask God for the faith and hope to trust him and to wait for him. God ultimately will scatter evil, so we can trust that he can overcome it for us.

Psalm 52~Enterity

For the director of music. A maskil of David. When Doeg the Edomite had gone to Saul and told him: "David has gone to the house of Ahimelek." Why do you boast of evil, you mighty hero? Why do you boast all day long, you who are a disgrace in the eyes of God? You who practice deceit, your tongue plots destruction; it is like a sharpened razor. You love evil rather than good, falsehood rather than speaking the truth.c You love every harmful word, you deceitful tongue! Surely God will bring you down to everlasting ruin: He will snatch you up and pluck you from your tent; he will uproot you from the land of the living. 16 6 The righteous will see and fear; ORYN 916 5/ they will laugh at you, saying, "Here now is the man who did not make God his stronghold goll but trusted in his great wealth and grew strong by destroying others!" VOT29D 2291 & But I am like an olive tree flourishing in the house of God; I trust in God's unfailing love for ever and ever. 9 For what you have done I will always praise you in the presence of your faithful people. And I will hope in your name, for your name is good.

The Holy Spirit✨Agent in Creation

God the Holy Spirit / Note2 The Holy Spirit-Agent in Creation Genesis 1:2 The third Person of the Trinity, God the Holy Spirit, has always existed just like God the Father has (see the concept note at Gen. 1:26-28, "Trinity in Creation"). He has been working on your behalf since before time began. The Holy Spirit was present and actively involved with God in the creation of the universe: "The Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters" (Gen. 1:2). "By His Spirit He adorned the heav- ens" (Job 26:13). The use of the plural pronouns "Us" and "Our" in Genesis 1:26 suggests the cooperative work of the Trinity during creation. The Bible gradually reveals more about the person and work of the Holy Spirit, especially beginning in the Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John). There Jesus explained about the Helper who would come to indwell believers after His own death, resurrection, and ascension. next: Numbers 27:18-21

The Invisible God

GENESIS 1:24 | Visible and invisible. God created everything you know about and everything you don't understand and all that no one has even discovered. From the astronomically gigantic to the insanely small. Inherent in His identity as Creator are a whole host of additional titles, each relating to His power and authority over all that He created: Lord. Ruler. Master. The One who creates is the One who gets to set the rules and require obedience. There's nothing presumptuous about God claiming power or authority it's just a simple fact that as the Creator of all things, His power and authority over creation is unbounded. Because all things were created by and through Him, all things are subject to Him. previous: Isaiah 40:28 next: Psalm 147:5

God The Father/Note 2

Genes 1 v1 God the Father / Note 2 God Is All-Powerful Genesis 1:1 The very first mention of God in the very first book of the Bible says that He created. What was it He created? Everything. "For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him" (Col. 1:16). This verse speaks of Jesus, God the Son, who was with God in the beginning (John 1:2). God the Spirit was there as well (Gen. 1:2). The Trinity, together, was the force and the creativity and the implementer of creation. See the concept notes for the Trinity at Genesis 1:26-28, Deuteronomy 6:5, Matthew 22:37-40, John 16:12-15, and Galatians 4:1-7.

Shattered Yet Seen⚡️

Shattered Yet Seen Sometimes the pain is so vast it feels like your heart has been broken into pieces you cannot gather back. In those moments, the enemy urges you to stare at the ruins instead of the Redeemer, and your thoughts become consumed by loss and confusion. But being shattered does not mean you are unseen. In fact, it is often the place where God sees you most clearly. When we are consumed by what went wrong, who hurt us, and what we lost, we can forget something eternal: God is already ahead of us. Whatever is coming, whatever feels uncertain, He is already there. He is making a way, preparing what you will need, and covering you with a protection you may not even fully recognize yet. It has never been luck. Even in the seasons where everything felt exposed and vulnerable, God had a hedge around your life. And the enemy knows it. That is why he is strategic. If he cannot shake you directly, he will come through the people closest to you, stirring division, planting doubt, and twisting truth in ways so subtle you almost miss it. But you have authority in Jesus to shut the door on what he is trying to build in your relationships and your mind. Even when you break free from one stronghold, do not be surprised if he returns through a different door. That is not a sign that you have failed. It is a sign that you are making progress. Through every attack and every attempt, God is still fighting for you, and His presence does not waver simply because your emotions do. There will be moments when you feel shattered, distant from God, like your hunger for Him has gone or been buried under the weight of everything you are carrying. But shattered does not mean unseen. It does not mean He has stepped away. Often, it means you are standing in the middle of a spiritual battle. This is where obedience becomes vital, not easy or natural but powerful. Because even when your heart feels broken open, when you feel scattered and undone, you still choose Him. You turn on worship with trembling hands. You pray through the ache. You sit in His presence even when you feel shattered. And somehow in that choice, something deeper is happening. Your heart may feel like it is in pieces, but your spirit is being held together, strengthened, seen. Even here, especially here, you are not lost to Him. God sees the tears you hide and the battles you fight in silence. Nothing about your pain is unseen, even when it feels like you are carrying it alone. You are not forgotten by Him, even if you feel overlooked by people. You are fully known, fully understood, and never out of His sight. Even in your brokenness and pain, He is near, holding your hand. He does not step back from your suffering but stays close through it all. And every time you choose to keep going and trust Him, even when it is hard and even when you feel like you have nothing left, He sees it and values it deeply. So even here, in what feels like your most fragile place, you are not abandoned or overlooked. You are held with intention, carried with love, and seen completely by the One who never looks away from you.
