This Sunday Elder Jim Samland will continue our study in 1 John, taking a look at chapter 3:11-24. This passage talks about the need to love one another. It starts by giving an example of what love is not (Cain’s murder of Abel) and then gives a positive example of Jesus’ sacrificial death for us. John concludes the section by showing us what love does and how our love of others should assure us of God’s relationship with us.
