Lily High on Life - David Southwick MP

David Southwick MP makes me proud to be a Jewish member of the Liberal Party. He loves what he does, is passionate about it, and it shows. The fact that he has, since childhood, shown the compassion, integrity and commitment that makes him such a great leader and human being today, is a testament to the values and beliefs his family modelled and instilled. David is totally authentic, and open in this brief insight into his life, career and family. After listening to this interview, I believe, like me, you would want to fully support David should he choose to run for Prime Minister of Australia. He is the type of Mensch we need in higher echelons of power.

Lily High On Life – David Traub

David Traub is a true man of the world. His relationships, work and reach spread to all corners of the globe. He is also one of the sweetest, most real people I know. He has been instrumental in creating countless technology companies, as well as Producer credits in major film projects, as well as creating large scale music collaborations globally. He is a trusted friend to world leaders and childhood friends and has lead a very positive life regardless of circumstances. I am thrilled to call him a friend of way too many years, and trust you will enjoy listening to our far too short conversation. His most recent website is: 17Questions.com

Lily High on Life - Dita Gould

Dita Gould is a positive powerhouse and still active and filling her days with not only her own pleasures, but life-long philanthropic work and family. A child Holocaust survivor, Dita's ability to focus on what had to be done rather than worry about what might happen, helped her to survive and is still a driving force in her life today. At 87 she has the stamina and energy to keep going till she hits 120 and beyond, with enough friends and interests to make that long life constantly interesting.

Lily High on Life - Issi Dye

Issi Dye is an entertainer, singer, performer, and in his 70s is busier than most people half his age. He performs in over 200 shows a year ! It is inspiring to hear his passion about what he does, and how and why he keeps up with not only performing around the world, but traveling and appreciating the life he has and is now living. The son of Holocaust survivors, early success as a recognised television celebrity and now a family man with 3 kids, there is a lot to be learned from this very high energy man who seems to have always been High On Life himself, finding self motivation throughout his life.

Lily High on Life - Taibe Ash

Taibe Ash is a force to be reckoned with. Apparently she always has been as one of 10 children, she stands out in the world, not just her family. Under 30 and already a successful business woman, Taibe has also just completed a nursing degree. I love that she takes responsibility for her life and is tuned into what makes her really happy. The decisions she has made in her life have come from am inner guidance rather than discontent, and she is obviously passionate about what she does and who she is. The biggest thing that stood out for me, is that she takes responsibility for her own life, and makes things happen. Married earlier this year, she seems to have found a truly 'b'shert' (divinely guided) match. Although very different in many ways, you can sense a joy and connection in their growing relationship that is definitely based on mutual love and respect. I loved talking to Taiba, and her happiness is infectious. I know you will enjoy listening.

Hayley today juggles 2 children, the family business, volunteer roles as Head of UIA, also the holocaust centre in addition to a multitude of other non profit projects, as well as being a full time support to David's parliamentary duties. The way she handles it all and remains not only sane, but happy is the reason she is a perfect guest on Lily High on LIfe. It's all about the perspective she chooses to see people through.

Lily High on Life - Sarah Odell

Sarah is the epitome of a full focus on Joy, Kindness and energy. She is a positive force who has raised her children and is now following her dreams and passions from childhood. I love the way she has never regretted decisions she has made or choices she has made about priorities in her life. Being High on Life is all about loving the moment you are living in right now and the way Sarah describes vignettes of her life she is happy with the priorities she chooses and embraces the results they bring. With a new day come new choices, and today it is to sing professionally and enjoy her family.

Lily High on Life - Timmy Rubin

Timmy Rubin is an orthodox Jewish woman with an effervescent personality and totally optimistic outlook to life, Her early years were totally secular, wild full of joy. But even with this huge transition she has basically not changed at all. Her inner soul and spirit is the same as in her younger years. How ? Why ? This mother of 4 and grandmother of so far 5, who runs the Mikvah (spiritual, ritual baths) in Melbourne, is open and generous in sharing her story.

Lily High On Life - The Why

This is a short recording letting you know how and why I created this. podcast. My wish is to open a window into other people's lives to improve general mental health and recognise everyone's life is valuable and unique and can perhaps get even more interesting if you Change Your Attitude and see how Your Life can Change. If you don't like the changes you can always back to the way you were. It was working for you then, and nothing is permanent. I am often told I live in a fantasy, which I choose to see as a compliment, so I always answer ' Yes, come and join me! If you don't like it you can always go back to your way.'
