Note sull'episodio
A night cashier at a quiet Portland gas station sees a cab pull into the lot a little after 3 a.m. A confused passenger gets out, asks for another ride, and seems to be waiting just outside. But within moments, the passenger is gone, and when the cashier calls dispatch, the story becomes stranger: the cab they saw should not have been there, and the driver they describe does not match the only driver working nearby.
This episode looks at the eerie space between a mistaken memory and something harder to explain. Was it a fake cab, a confused late-night customer, a setup, or one of those brief encounters that feels ordinary until the details stop lining up? We follow the cashier’s account from the empty station lot to the unsettling call with dispatch, where the simple act of helping someone find a ride turns into a mystery with no clean ending.
