Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave Is an Overstuffed Beast

Or: Vintage 2002 Furry Awakening Bait
The Nintendo Switch 2 keeps providing good times for all, and Nick is here to cover a trio of first-party Nintendo games.
After covering some things like the end of Donkey Kong Bananza's Emerald Rush events and The Pokémon Company's newest $10,000 scam, he kicks off the game coverage section with Star Fox Adventures. Previously known as Dinosaur Planet for the N64, this GameCube game went through quite the transformation to bolt the Star Fox IP onto the existing game's framework. And who can forget Krystal, the fox lady who awoke an entire generation of furrys.
After Star Fox Adventures, Nick dives into another game on the Nintendo Switch 2's GameCube app: Super Mario Sunshine. Does Super Mario Sunshine hold up in 2026? Though the game clearly has some problems. Mario's adventure in sunny Isle Delfino still has the quintessential Nintendo charm us hardcore fans love.
Finally, Nick tackles the first act of Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave. After the disappointing Fire Emblem: Engage, does Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave recapture the glory of Fire Emblem: Three Houses? Nick has plenty of thoughts about this new Fire Emblem epic, so press play and enjoy this journey through more Nintendo Switch 2 goodness.
