The Verdict on Xenoblade Chronicles 2's NS2 Edition

Or: That Nintendo Game What Stars A Little Boy Who Gets A Special Ultra Sword Made of Two Hot Anime Ladies

On the first full-fledged episode of Hardcore Nintendo Sensations, I (Nick) take you on the inaugural trip to the Latest Little Layers of Lore™ before regaling you with tales from Alrest in Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and the punk streets of skateboarding heaven in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater.

9 years after it originally came out. Xenoblade Chronicles 2: Nintendo Switch 2 Edition is here. Is this the upgrade fans of Xenoblade Chronicles 2 have been waiting for? They've added new features, like bonus costumes for Pyra and Mythra, revised field skills, better framerate, improved resolution, and more.

We're also discussing the Tony Hawk series. Specifically, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 for the PS5 (also on Switch), Tony Hawk's Pro Skater (for the DreamCast), and Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 (also for the DreamCast). Despite not being a Nintendo series, the Tony Hawk games have plenty of DNA from our favorite Japanese video game company.
