Crucifixions were the worst form of punishment to exist. It was meant to be as slow and excruciating as possible. It was entertainment to the Romans. They loved every moment of it. It was disgusting, inhuman and torturous.

Crucifixions were done publicly and people were crucified naked to enhance the humiliation.
