In the summer of 1992, four year old Brandon Sims went missing. In July his mother, Michelle Engron Jones had gone on a trip to Detroit, Michigan to attend a conference. At the time, she claimed that the little boy was with a baby sitter. However he was never seen again.
Police were called and Jones was arrested.
Diane Marger Moore was assigned to prosecute the case and eventually Jones was convicted even though a body was never found.
According to Amazon, Marger Moore became a prosecutor late in her career. As the chief arson prosecutor she won several murder prosecutions in Marion County, Indiana that were deemed unwinnable. Before becoming a prosecutor, she was a criminal defense attorney and federal public defender.
Her first murder trial, as a defense lawyer, was a death penalty case in Claxton, Georgia in 1979. Marge ...
