Art & Gibberish #28 | Christine Code
Note sull'episodio
In this episode of Art & Gibberish, we sit down with Saskatchewan artist Christine Code, known for her moody, atmospheric oil paintings inspired by Canada’s “Land of the Living Skies.”
Christine combines impressionism and tonalism to capture the light, mood, and vast landscapes of the Prairies. An avid plein air painter, she takes what she learns painting outdoors back into the studio to create her larger works.
Her paintings have earned awards and recognition across Canada and internationally, and have been featured in PleinAir Magazine, Fine Art Connoisseur, and Modern Impressionist Magazine. In 2024, Christine also became an Elected Member of the Society of Canadian Artists. Join us as we chat with Christine about her art, inspiration, painting process, and life as an artist in rural Saskatchewan.
