Many of us aspire or try hard to be self-sufficient. Some even wear it as a badge of honor. "I did it all by myself." As social animals, it is impractical, at times, even cruel, for us to expect everyone to be self-sufficient. It is scarcity-driven and ultra-individualistic. While we all strive to be independent people, it is also crucial to have familial, communal, and systemic support. To know that we are not alone, that we are supported and loved, and that we don't always have to be "able" or "sufficient", is extremely important for our wellbeing and abundance. Abundance - scarcity (part 1), fear, not enough, and competition

The scarcity mindset is the naughty sibling of the Abundance Mindset. Like yin and yang, day and night, light and darkness, there is no Abundance without scarcity. The scarcity mindset is the default mindset in modern society, especially for adults. It runs on the illusion that "there is not enough for everyone" therefore "we must acquire more and hoard resources". Learning about the scarcity mindset and what happens when we lead our lives with that mindset, can help us unlearn it and embrace the Abundance Mindset instead. Thank you for watching!
