Episode 44 - Flat Earth Dave

In this episode of The Sober By Design podcast I talk with @flatearthdavecom. Using language I learned on the podcast, we have a very kind and open discussion between a glober and a flat earther. Dave takes times to walk me through the concepts behind the flat earth history and the theories that drive people to dive head first into the movement. Dave also shares his experience of people in recovery finding some clarity in the flat earth movement, and that some folks have credited this idea to their continued recovery. You can find all of Dave's links at www.flatearthdave.com This episode was a fun one to record and I hope listeners will come to it with an open mind, I listened to Dave throughout - but I am sill a glober ;) The only media recommendation we really got to was The Yacht Rock station on Sirius XM

Episode 43 - 2024 Election Thoughts

The episode no one asked for, but the episode I needed to record. This episode is me letting out all my thoughts on the 2024 election ; how we got here, what can we change, what may/may not happen, and how it all relates to sobriety for me. If you do not like politics do not listen. If you only like hearing how great your side of the political sphere don't listen. If you maybe want to learn about bit about how I think LISTEN. I hope it makes sense and something resonates for you as you move forward from here, no matter what side of the pollical aisle you are on.
