First episode of 2024! What a way to start! In this episode I talk to Jessica Jordan, a sex and porn recovery specialist (www.selfcraftedking.com) about her life before her current calling, and what she does in her day to day life now. One of the most engaging episodes, and went so much deeper than Jessica's current work. We hit on connection, the make up of addiction, issues with intimacy, social media challenges, and attachment theory. Jessica also shares her profound health story which revolves around eating a bad piece of tinned fish. I never knew anything like this could ever happen, you need to listen to hear more! Episode 30 - 2023 Wrapped

Ending the year with a solo podcast, a wrap up 2023 and all I did living a life of recovery. The premise of the show is that we can live full, fun, lives without alcohol or other mood altering substances - so what better way to prove that than a quick episode of some of what I did this past year. Next year/season The Sober By Design Podcast will be having more guests, delving into different topics, and hopefully hitting closer to 45 episodes for the year. Thanks for a great first year!

In episode 28 I sit down with Jennifer Jacuzzi to talk about her story of drinking to recovery. Jennifer found herself at a young age in treatment for codependency, struggling with alcohol, and then continuing a destructive cycle for years until she found her recovery. In recovery Jennifer has started to help other via AA, her church, her strong personal relationships, and acting as a mentor for folks finding recovery at the rehab that gave her the foundation for her sobriety. Jennifer shares stories of relationships, loss, hope, and how she had a true rock bottom moment on TV as a news anchor going on live under the influence of alcohol and blowing up her long fought for career. Jennifer bares it all, and it is a great listen with so much to learn - because today Jennifer is living in grace and knows what she needs to do to help herself and others. Brett is one of 6 children, entered the army national guard, and then found his way to helping people through his chiropractic practice.
