Family Guy Season 1 Episode 6, "The Son Also Draws," gets the Family Guy Guys treatment: On the Family Guy episode, Chris wants to quit scouts to focus on his art, we find out Hot Lois is a degenerate gambler, Peter goes on a (pretty unearned) vision quest, and the episode treats Native Americans with exactly as much care and respect as you probably would expect.
On the pod ep, Jason, Collin, and Tyler discuss the episode's surprisingly decent early gags, a suspicious "Love, Actually" sign connection, the eternal quest to find out whether Stewie is (literally) understood, ANOTHER continuity error from Handsome Seth, and whether any of the Peter and Chris emotional stuff has been earned yet. Also: Red Hot Chili Peppers cigarette parodies, the Flea Flickers, Canadian slander, and a deeply necessary FOIA request for the Family Guy show bible.
Family Guy Guys is three friends watching every episode of Family Guy in order, because apparently nobody stopped us.
What did you think of "The Son Also Draws"? Could you look past the creakiness, or were you cringing like the FaGuGu boys?
