SmackDown went down under today in Perth, Australia — airing at 8 a.m. U.S. time — and while it was a solid show, it’s clear the “go-home” magic before a Premium Live Event just isn’t what it used to be. Cody Rhodes opened the night talking about respect… a lot of respect. But honestly, WWE needs less handshakes and more heat heading into Crown Jewel.

The highlight of the night? The Wyatt story continues to grow darker, and Solo Sikoa’s MFTs are starting to feel like a real threat. That angle’s cooking nicely. Then in one of the night’s most surprising moments, Damian Priest actually fell to Aleister Black after a slick assist from Zelina Vega — and it worked. Overall, not bad… just not must-see heading into Crow ...
