WrestleMania 42 Night 1 had EVERYTHING on paper… and somehow still felt like a TOTAL letdown.
Cody Rhodes vs Randy Orton was supposed to deliver one of the biggest WrestleMania main events in years. They teased something HUGE… a possible Cody heel turn… a real shift… and then just completely backed off and gave us a confusing, flat ending that didn’t hit the way it should have.
Outside of that, the show had moments, but nothing that truly felt like WrestleMania level. Seth Rollins vs Gunther had its moments, but even that got overshad ...
