Season 1
Ep 11: The Struggle - Don't Quit in the Middle
You felt The Stirring. You took The Step. And now you’re living in the middle of the decision you made, and suddenly, it’s harder than you expected. In this episode, I’m talking about The Struggle, the part of transition where the excitement begins to wear off, reality sets in, and we start asking, “Did I make a mistake?” Through lessons from my own journey as a business owner, I’m sharing why difficult moments don’t necessarily mean you took the wrong step and why struggle can be a completely normal part of becoming who your next season requires. We’ll also look at Psalm 23 and the beautiful reminder that we don’t set up residence in the valley, we walk through it, with a Shepherd who protects us and guides us along the way. I’ll share practical ways to navigate the hard middle, including rest, celebrating your progress, caring for yourself, asking for help, and breaking overwhelming challenges into manageable pieces. If you’re exhausted, questioning yourself, or tempted to turn back, this episode is your reminder: hard doesn’t always mean wrong. Don’t quit in the middle. Keep walking, you’re going through. Ep 10: The Step — Scared is Not A Stop Sign
In the second episode of my Transition Series, we’re talking about The Step—that moment when you’ve felt the stirring, asked the questions, prayed about it, thought about it (and maybe overthought it!), but eventually you have to move your feet. I’m sharing some of the lessons I’ve learned from my own big steps, including becoming a business owner, and why I wish I had asked a few more questions along the way. We’ll talk about the difference between fear and a genuine warning, why confidence usually comes after we move, and why discomfort doesn’t automatically mean we’ve made the wrong decision. How the "yes," "no," or "not right now," are all great decisions. And then we’re going to the story of Peter stepping out of the boat, because we aren't given all of the picture before we have to move. Sometimes we’re waiting for God to illuminate the next five miles when He’s giving us enough light for the next few feet. So if you’ve been praying, planning, analyzing, or waiting until you feel completely ready, this episode is for you. You don’t need the whole staircase. You just need to figure out your next faithful step. Be sure to follow me on Instagram @jamietheceo. Ep 9: Prayer Sunday - Blessings for Your Week
Today I'm sharing from Luke 5 started in verse 5. I talked about it in the last episode and know all too well what it feels like when you have tried and tried and nothing seems to be changing. Let's do it one more time. Raising up a prayer for you today and this week. Be encouraged my friend. Be sure to share with a friend that could use a bit of a blesssing. Ep 8: Who told you? It's time to dream again.
Who told you that your dream was over? Who told you that you’re too old, too young, too late, too tired—or that the breakthrough simply isn’t going to happen for you? This episode wasn’t the one I planned to record. But after walking through my own week of feeling tired and discouraged, I kept hearing two words: Who told you? It led me back to Luke 5 and the story of Peter, exhausted after fishing all night with nothing to show for it, when Jesus asks him to cast his net one more time. And that hit me differently this week. In this episode, I’m sharing what God reminded me about dreaming again, taking action toward the things we say we want, and refusing to let yesterday’s disappointment become tomorrow’s expectation. We’ll talk about moving from a dream to a plan, building habits and systems around the life you want to create, and having the courage to try again, even when part of you is saying, I already tried that. Maybe the dream isn’t dead. Maybe you’re just tired. And maybe it’s time to cast the net one more time. Share with another woman who needs a boost. Need to go a bit deeper? Ep 7: The Stirring — How to Know It's Time for Change
Have you ever had that feeling that something in your life is about to change? I call that the stirring—that quiet nudge deep inside that tells you a new season is on the horizon. In this episode, I'm sharing why I've come to recognize the stirring as the very first phase of every transition I've experienced and why learning to pause before taking the next step can make all the difference. I'll walk you through the three questions I ask myself whenever I sense change is coming: Am I running to something or running from something? Have I sought wise confirmation? Do I have the resources and bandwidth to support this next step? And in Jamie fashion, I'll also share personal stories from my own journey of moving, making major life decisions, and learning to trust God's timing. If you're standing at the edge of a new beginning, I hope this episode gives you the clarity, confidence, and encouragement to embrace the power of the pause before you take the leap. Ep 6: You're Not Lost. You're in Transition.
This episode is a big longer than the others, but I think you'll enjoy the topic! Transitions have shaped some of the biggest moments of my life, and I've learned they rarely look the way we expect. In this episode, I'm sharing the framework that has helped me make sense of every major life change: The Stirring, The Step, The Struggle, and The New Beginning. Through the lens of Ecclesiastes 3, a little Footloose nostalgia, and my own journey from executive leadership to business ownership, I'll share why even the seasons we've prayed for can still leave us feeling overwhelmed, uncertain, and exhausted. If you're navigating a career change, the end of a relationship, becoming an empty nester, moving to a new place, or simply feeling like life is shifting beneath your feet, I hope this episode reminds you that you're not alone. Transition doesn't mean you're failing—it means you're growing. My prayer is that you'll walk away with renewed hope, practical encouragement, and the confidence to embrace the season you're in, knowing that every transition is preparing you for a new beginning. I'll share more about the truth behind affirmations, some additional cool brain science, and cover 4 tips on writing your very own. YOUR own. Not someone else's from the latest insta post. Ep 2: Looking Back is Keeping you Stuck
Have you ever found yourself replaying old mistakes, wishing you could change the past, or wondering why your life doesn't look the way you hoped it would by now? In this honest and encouraging episode, I share one of the most defining moments of my own journey—a rainy night at a red light when God gently reminded me of the story of Lot's wife and the danger of looking back. Through personal stories of financial setbacks, health struggles, and seasons of disappointment, I explore the difference between reflecting on the past to learn from it and becoming trapped by it. You'll discover how to: Recognize when looking back has become an unhealthy pattern. Break free from regret, comparison, and the "if only" mindset. Learn from your past without allowing it to define your future. Take one simple, practical step toward the life God is calling you to. Whether you're navigating a career transition, rebuilding after loss, facing financial challenges, or simply feeling stuck, this episode will remind you that your past is a teacher—not your destination. It's time to stop living through the rearview mirror and start stepping confidently into the future God has prepared for you. Remember: You are not stuck. You are not behind. And you are absolutely worthy of a new beginning. Connect with me on Instagram, @jamietheceo or apply for 1:1 coaching here.
