In this sermon, Jacob Hawk reminds us of three essentials every Christian must hold onto. Drawing from Hebrews and John, he shows that we cannot live without the blood of Jesus, because without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness; we cannot live without faith, because without faith it is impossible to please God; and we cannot live without Jesus Himself, because apart from Him we can do nothing of eternal value. This lesson is a call to remember what matters most, to trust God in life’s hardest moments, and to recommit ourselves to walking closely with Christ.
