On May 3rd, 2002, a 7-year-old walked with her stepfather to school, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. When she didn’t come home at her usual time, her mother rushed to her school, only to find out that she was marked absent and never made it to school that day. At first, tips of strange vehicles parked outside the school and a recent attempted kidnapping pointed to a possible abduction but as the investigation continued, authorities uncovered conflicting stories and a history of violence. Decades later, her disappearance remains a mystery.
