Good afternoon. Wisconsin. I'm Aaron Jolly. Step outside right now and you'll feel 43 degrees wrapped in a blanket of fog. That fog is thick — especially along Lake Michigan, where visibility has dropped to a quarter mile. Dense Fog Advisory until 6 A.M. Friday for the lakeshore counties. If you're driving tonight, take it slow and keep those headlights on low beam. In the next 24 hours. But today's quiet weather is just the opening act. Friday brings a soaking rain that doesn't mess around. South Central Wisconsin gets hit first around 6 A.M., with rain peaking by 10 A.M. Southeast Wisconsin sees it roll in around 9 A.M., heaviest near noon. Northeast Wisconsin joins the party by mid-morning.
