That gray ceiling overhead? That's arctic air settling in after a cold front blasted through overnight. and it brought company — a narrow ribbon of snow tracking east from the Dakotas. Think of it like a conveyor belt, maybe two counties wide. If you're under it, you'll see accumulation. If you're not, just flurries.
In the next 24 hours. South Central Wisconsin gets the first taste around 9 A.M. Snow peaks near noon, dropping 1 to 3 inches of the fluffy stuff. Southeast Wisconsin starts closer to noon with 1 to 2 inches through this evening. Northeast Wisconsin, you're on the edge. Just a chance of light snow after 1 P.M. With less than half an inch.
