Elle stumbled upon some messy booksta-drama somewhere in the rabbit hole of Threads, and we discuss the difference between airing dirty laundry for your followers, and followers understanding when creatives deserve their privacy (spoiler: authors deserve to have private lives, despite how much you love their work.). In this week's book, Elle was briefly teased with a FMC who uses protection while the sentient object is still in paintbrush form and then seems to forget it exists once he's a human. Both Kay and Elle were a little confused with the darker elements that don't always seem to align with where the story went.
