Blind conformism is often fueled by religion and cultural practices. Religion is simply the belief or non-belief in the existence of a God or of gods, usually espoused by doctrines. It is a word regularly used interchangeably with faith or a belief system. Howbeit, religious practices vary, and in most cases, they entail the veneration of a supreme supernatural being, deities or an entity that is considered sacred.
