Kentucky Legislator put on BLAST! - DID I DO IT?

NOT MY STYLE - this is my response to the allegations that I am responsible for putting a KY legislator on blast! In my short time in politics I can't express how many times I have had to say to a legislator "thats not my style." This phrase has never been more accurate than it is in regards to the most recent situation in which someone sent out documents notifying the KY legislature of one of it's members having described themselves as "trans" in a magazine publication well over a decade ago. I had planned on not doing a show discussing this situation b/c I wanted it to be clear that I was not the perpetrator but as of yesterday the information was made publicly on various social media outlets and therefore I feel that I must address the rumors I my involvement. I also have attempted to reach out to the legislator that has been put on blast with these allegations and haven't heard back from them. This gives us a great opportunity to discuss my personal communication methods with elected officials as well as how if I had been the person to uncover this information how I would have handled it.
