In this special episode of War Dogs, Tom Shambo interviews 1950 Korean War Vet, John "Doc" Levi.

Monty's extraordinary Military Working Dog (MWD) service and training expertise spanned numerous years of overseas tours - 2 tours as a sentry dog handler at Da Nang and Phu Cat Air Bases, Vietnam; NCOIC, Drug Detector Dog Section, and senior MWD trainer, Clark Air Base, Philippines; his last overseas tour, he was NCOIC, PACAF Military Working Dog Training Center, Okinawa, Japan. Additional Stateside assignments included Ellsworth Air Force Base, South Dakota; Kelly Air Force Base, Texas; instructor duty at the Military Working Dog Studies Branch, Medina Air Force Base, Texas; Kennelmaster, Keesler Air Force Base, Mississippi; and, MWD trainer and Law Enforcement Flight Chief, Andrews Air Force, Washington, DC. He retired from Air Force active duty with 20 years of service. He continued in law enforcement as a U.S. Special Deputy Marshal, at the Department of Justice, Washington, DC; federal police officer at the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren, Virginia; and, the Veterans Affairs Medical Center, New Orleans, Louisiana.
Ron Aiello is a U.S Marine Scout Dog handler who served in Vietnam.
Ernest served from 1967-1969 in Ta Nang, Long Binh, and Phouoc Binh
Timothy Sparks served in the United States Air Force as a sentry dog handler in Vietnam from 1969 to 1971.
Your host Tom Shambo turns the mic around and becomes the guest on this episode. Tom Shambo served in the 35th Security Police Squadron from February 1967 to February 1968 at Phan Rang Air Force Base.
