Minimum wage is seen as a protection, but I see it as an impediment to personal empowerment. People should be educated on how wages are set and who has to agree upon them. When we take personal responsibility we become empowered. In this video, I give examples for how raising the minimum wage can hurt individuals that otherwise would be employed happily.
