Did you know that one of the very first proposed amendments to the U.S. Constitution… is still technically pending today?

In this Voices of Life Did You Know? episode, Pastor David takes you back to 1789— to the First Congress, the birth of the Bill of Rights, and an amendment designed to keep the House of Representatives close to the people as the nation grew.

This forgotten proposal, known as the Congressional Apportionment Amendment, was part of the original twelve amendments sent to the states. Ten became the Bill of Rights. One became the 27th Amendment… two centuries later. And one—this one—never crossed the finish line.
