The management of OAB increases in complexity as a patient becomes older. This can be due a number of factors, including the number of conditions an older patient needs to managed and the increasing severity of these conditions. In particular, cognitive impairment has become a major issue that has been identified among older OAB patients, with OAB being associated with measurably slower cognative responses. This episode will focus on the latest thinking on how to approach this OAB and lifelong care, and what is being done to address this issue as the geriatric population grows.
