Upfront & Undivided

Priorities
Priorities. That is the topic of this weeks episode. From learning how to pivot in new seasons to readjusting our focus on what needs to be done today. What can be put on the back burner and what gets to be let go completely? Some days it feels seamless where other days it seems like a cluster. However it may be going right now, it is a process and a journey. Psalm 16: 11 - "You make known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand." (NIV) Have a listen and let us know what you think. Have the best week! Enjoy the journey!
Foundation Bricks
When we talk about building our marriage, building a relationship, we start to realize that it takes lots of little steps. Then, those steps start to add up. It is like the bricks that make up a house. No single brick is responsible for the house, but they need to be good bricks to provide a solid foundation and structure to the house. It isn't always fun or glamorous, but it matters, and it adds up. Have a listen, and let us know what you think. Share this with a friend that you think could use some encouragement, or a laugh. Have the best week! Enjoy the journey!
Chaos Theory with Sebastian
A lot of us do well with structure and schedules, to varying degrees. Listen in as we talk to Sebastian about this topic, and some of his ideas on how to help out parents. Have the best week! Enjoy the journey!
Forgiveness First
Welcome back as we talk about accomplishing things on our list. We are talking about forgiveness on this episode. When we don't walk in forgiveness, we can cause a lot of pain to those around us. How would we walk if we chose to forgive first? What if that was our first thought? God does. Have the best week! Enjoy the journey!
To Be Married, or Not Divorced?
A statement came out in our conversation the other day - "You know, some people are trying to not get divorced, rather than wanting to be married." So what does that look like? What does that sound like? We live in a world where it is acceptable for a marriage to look like roommates sharing a last name and having different lives. How do we break that cycle? We break it by remembering WHY we got married. We encourage each other to grow, together! Not to be identical, but together. Connect with us if you would like to be better with your marriage. Have a listen, and let us know what you think! Have the best week! Enjoy the journey!
Being Accountable
When Eve was talking to the snake, Adam was right there with her, listening and watching. Are we helping our spouses stay accountable, are we encouraging them, correcting them, helping them? How do we act, look, speak when we are at our spouse's elbow? Have the best week! Enjoy the journey!
When There's a Hole in Your Ceiling
Welcome to 2026! We are expecting and hoping for great things for all of you this upcoming year! Sometimes life doesn't quite go the way we planned. We get to choose how we react and how we prepare for what may come. When we lean into what God has for us, then we are able to handle it His way. Every day, we get to choose how we think, act, and respond to every situation, whether it's a blessing or a hardship. We want to encourage all of you, and hope for the best in your relationships! Ephesians 5: 21-33 Have the best week! Enjoy the journey!
The 2 Become 1
When two people get married, they get a new identity. That comes with starting a new family, new traditions, and a new culture. It might seem a bit crazy to go against tradition, especially now that it is the Holiday season of Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's. This is what happens though. As a married couple, starting our own family, we had the opportunity to sit and talk about what we wanted our family traditions to look and sound like. We took the good and the bad of our families from growing up, and had a "Keep or Toss" conversation. We learned that those conversations keep happening throughout our marriage, in every season. Our lives will change, and our traditions get to change with them. So what traditions would you like to start, keep, or change in your marriage and family? Have a listen, and let us know what you think. Have the best week! Enjoy the journey!
Who's In Your Corner?
Many of us know that we should be wise and discerning when it comes to allowing people to speak into our lives. It is the same with your marriage. Not everyone we meet should have access and "speaking rights" to our marriage. It is good to have a conversation with God and your spouse about who should be in your corner, and should should just visit your porch. Not everyone will be able to have the same level of trust and love for your marriage as you do. Have a listen as we talk about the people that should be in your corner, the ones that will celebrate with you and hold you accountable. Let us know what you think! Have the best week! Enjoy the journey!
Accountability
Welcome to Episode 134! We are so excited to share our thoughts on accountability with you. What does that look like? It is a combination of what we say and do to and for each other, and so much more. Accountability is accepting responsibility for one's actions, commitments, and decisions, and being answerable for the outcomes, whether positive or negative. It involves being transparent, explaining decisions, and taking ownership of results to build trust and improve performance in personal, professional, and societal contexts. We also talk about Accountability and Vulnerability in Episode 58. Have a listen and let us know what you think! Have the best week! Enjoy the journey!
