EP 11 - Rage in the Machine
Hey there dungeons and dragons nerds, dnd fans, and TTRPG geeks! Welcome to Universe Zero an Actual play podcast were I James will lead these adventurers into the manic, and bizarro world, pulling inspiration from all my favorite childhood anime, Manga, and Comics, blending it into this fast paced high energy world where anyone can push past their limits and become the Hero of their own story. ----------- Content Warning! Universe Zero is a fun exploration of self-discover, childish games, and crass comments between a few friends and a pool of dice. Due to the improvisational nature of Tabletop actual play podcasts, there will be combat, violence, lying deception and much more as we play. If certain episodes or scenes become uncomfortable, we strongly suggest taking a break or skipping that particular episode. ----------------------------- We placed our Nullian Magician in a precarious spot, to help or to hide and our little grey hero decided to deal his own fate and help our temporary NPC Kanashi Pai. Stepping in front of the Twisted man and calling for the release of the Kanashi, we saw a glimmer of heroism from our Nullian on who’se on a sabbatical. However this conflict caused a strange gale force wind to damaging darts dojo, forcing Darts hand and to step into the frey to lend his webbed finlanges in vanquishing this grossly gyroscopic ghoul, if only he could see this being. Luckily for both our allies, Dart held a temporary ticket, gifted from their enigmatic patron Velvet, that allowed dart to see these gross ghosts and prune its wiley whipping legs. From Falling in the dark, to following an illuminated path this combat quickly turned in our friends favor as they worked as a team and Marvin channeled his sparkly fingers into a lightning lasso holding this hollow spirit in place as Dart hopped around it and cut it down to size, as Marvin learned he could capture this spirit in his spectral spell book… That’s definitely not going to be a bad thing later… not at all. But, now with a few bruises and the power of teamwork under their yellow belts yet again, are our alien allies ready to leave the nest and travel the world with their llama lad Johnny for further growth?
